One of Harley Earl's best efforts during the 1950's was the Cadillac El
Dorado. Though massive from any angle, they were (and still are) 'eye
catchers'; the epitome of glamour and sex appeal. Especially so were the
white convertibles trimmed in red upholstery; sporting BIG white side
wall tires, chrome wire wheels; and spare tire mounted above the rear
bumper.
This colorful
watercolor is a "study" I did back in 1985.
This is
an 8.5" x 11" glossy print signed and dated by Tom Daniel. It's
printed on Hammermill Jet Print Ultra Gloss paper from a quality Epson
inkjet printer. Beautifully retouched with vibrant color, but not "colorfast"
(will fade near sunlight).
