Wow! What a deal! Rod&Custom Magazine only cost 35 cents in January, 1965! This watercolor Cover Illustration that I did was 'far-out'; and pretty 'kookie' looking during some 'kookie' times. As the cover copy suggests, I was doing a 'series' of "Off the Sketchpad" designs and ideas using the Model 'T' ford as the basis. This happy little design was - in part - the genesis of the "HORN TOAD" Model Kit Design that I did for Monogram Models some years later - in the early 1970's. This is an 8.5" x 11" glossy print signed and dated by Tom Daniel. It's printed on Hammermill Jet Print Ultra Gloss paper from a quality Epson inkjet printer. Beautifully retouched with vibrant color, but not "colorfast" (will fade near sunlight). |
